I live just outside the village with my husband, kids and two cats and spend as much time as I can in the garden or out walking. Often turning up to playgroup in wellies and covered in mud!
Not so long ago I was a teacher of children with additional needs, however my main role in life right now is as a snack provider and coat carrier to three very hungry children! One of who has finished her time in the playgroup, one who is still here and one who is deperate to start their learning journey.
My role is to oversee the general business management of the setting. I am responsible for chairing any meetings that we may hold and making sure that everyone has an equal say in the decisions being made to best suit our setting. I also ensure that I liaise with the relevant groups in order to ensure that standards of the setting are met. As part of my role I work closely with the manager and committee to ensure that policies and procedures are updated as required and are followed.
Hi I'm Laura, I enjoy walking, catching up with friends, baking and crafting, but most importantly I love to spend time with my family.
I live on a farm just outside Udny Station with my husband and two little boys. My oldest son is now at school and my youngest attends playgroup.
I work part time as a teacher and spend time at home looking after the boys.
My main responsibility within the committee is to deal with the banking and liaise with the Finance Administration Assistant on financial matters. I also work alongside the manager, chair and secretary to ensure that policies and procedures are updated as required and followed. Currently I have also taken on the role of Lead Fundraiser and come up with fundraising event ideas to facilitate our income which in turn helps with the purchase of new resources for the setting or help towards funding trips.
Hi I'm Kirsty, I live outside Udny Station near a farm. I've got 2 children, my son who is graduating from pre-school this term and my daughter who is in 2's. I've got 2 dogs, a cat and 2 horses.
I work full time in a busy shop across the other side of Aberdeen so I'm always on the go walking the dogs, feeding the hungry children and caring for my 2 horses. I like to ride in my free time and spend time doing activities with the kids in our spare time.
My main responsibility within the committee is to take accurate minutes of any meetings that take place and ensure that these are distributed to all our members. I also work alongside the manager, chair and treasurer to ensure that policies and procedures are updated as required and followed.
