Here comes the summer!

With less than two weeks to go until the summer holidays, this term seems to have flown by!

We've had loads of fun at playgroup and still have our summer trip to look forward to this week, a visit to Cultercullen Primary School to watch their end of term play and our graduation ceremony for those children heading off to school after the holidays. Here are just a few of the things we've been up to.

The children loved watching these duck eggs hatch at playgroup!Once the ducklings grew a little bigger they came back to visit and everybody voted for their favourite names - Donald and Daisy. They are thriving back at home and busy enjoying the sunshine in their pond.

The sun shone for sports day and we had lots of fun doing the sack race, egg and spoon, backwards, throwing and running races. Parents and carers came along to watch and cheer us on then everybody got a shiny medal as they were all winners!

Our forest school sessions were great fun and the children enjoyed clay modelling, den building, woodwork and hunting for the elusive creature who made these giant footprints not to mention toasting marshmallows with the new fire bowl and exploring in the woods.
