We spend time outside come rain or shine with regular outdoor play sessions each week. The children have access to a wide range of play equipment, free play and the opportunity to learn about the natural world around them.
We have a traditional sports day each year and all the children are invited to take part.
We foster the children's imagination through our outdoor activities in the local area including walks, den building, mud and water play, wood working, exploring, cooking with our fire bowl and mini-beast spotting.
We regularly have visitors coming in to complement the children's learning. Visitors have included The Critter Keeper who amazed the children with all sorts of bugs and animals, a wonderful puppet show featuring much loved children's stories, a messy play specialist, drumming workshop and the very popular Artie's Tartan Tales featuring Scottish stories, songs and music.
We visit local attractions such as Macduff Aquarium, Haddo House, Duthie Park and the local beaches too.
And of course, we love to let the children get messy...
